Hello Mary and your Dad,
FYI:
After reading about the 1774 arrangement made during Lord Dunmore's war, when young 13 year old Elisabeth Spicer was released by her captors on Christmas to a Col. George Wilson; I was inspired to learn more about who he was so, as
I was google searching Col. George Wilson,
I came across an interesting thing to share.

Two things I've learned today that after reading your section
or your dad's information on The Lieutenant Colonel, 1) that you are unaware of the location of his sword.
Well, a few minutes earlier, 2) I'd read of a Philadelphia Museum with a photo of George Wilsons' sword. Go take a look at this link:

Anyhow, I was unable at your website to locate a contact link that would function, so decided that maybe you'll check these comments on your blog
I'd like to keep my email private, and not post it on this comment, so feel free for you and your father to respond privately, or fix your contact drop down menu on your website to display an email address or P.O. Box for U.S. mail, or some way to more easily communicate than this. I hope this commentary finds you and your dad, and that you both find it a happy experience, to learn of the sword and it's location in an American Revolutionary War Museum, in Philly, PA.
